Blake Nicolas Thompson, 14, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Norton Children's Hospital, Louisville, KY.

Blake was an avid University of Louisville fan.

He was preceded in death by his father, SSGT Gregory Matthew Thompson.

Survivors include:
His parents, Nicole & Gary Matthews of Brandenburg, KY; six siblings, Dylan, Carter, Benjamin, Alexis, Gracie, Jaxson; paternal grandparents, Dale & Carol Thompson; maternal grandparents, Tom & Ginny Lanham, Phil & Jennifer Metzger; a special aunt & uncle, Megan & Matt Fackler; a favorite cousin, Lane; several other aunts, uncles, cousins, family, friends; and a best friend, Scar.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 7:00 PM Sunday at the Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 4:00 PM, Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Cremation will follow the visitation.
