Bobby Lee Smith of Louisville Kentucky passed away March 24th, 2017 at his home in Jefferson County. He was born March 26, 1942 in Tulsa Oklahoma. In his earlier years, he was an avid boxer, enjoyed playing basketball, and continued this during his Military career. Mr. Smith was a United States Army retiree and Vietnam War Veteran.

After retiring, Mr. Smith joined the law enforcement field at the Naval Ordnance Station Louisville. Where he worked for the Security Department for many years. He was also a Mason, liked to go to church, enjoyed horse races and was a Steelers fan. His parents preceded him in his death.

Survivors include his only brother Harold “Smitty” Smith and his Nephew Mike Smith and his Family of Aberdeen MD. Bobby Lee Smith leaves behind several of his friends in the Louisville area, extended family and friends in Tulsa OK.

A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
