Dorothy Mae Morris (Priest), 80, of Vine Grove, KY entered eternal life on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at the Signature of Elizabethtown, KY.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Obed Lee Morris; her parents, Sam Sr. & Clara (Rhodes) Priest; two sisters, Janet Priest & Bonnie Williams; and one brother Tom Priest.

She is survived by her daughter, Rita Morris Coomes; her adopted granddaughter and caregiver, Tammy Prindle (Doug); one stepson, Larry Morris (Reba); one stepdaughter, Joyce Hinton (Arnold); three brothers Donnie Priest (Sue), Joe Priest (David Ann), Sam Jr. Priest (Sylvia); three sisters, Betty Ann Heavern (George), Mary Johnson (Alan), Cathy Priest; nine step-grandchildren; many step-great-grandchildren; many step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM EST Friday and from 9:00 AM until 10:45 AM Saturday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 PM EST, Saturday, November 11, 2017 at St. Romuald Catholic Church, Hardinsburg, KY with Father Brian Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Romuald Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Coffey & Chism Funeral Home.
