Charles Adrian Redmon

Charles Adrian “Brick” Redmon, 102, of Flaherty, KY passed away Monday, November 25, 2019 at his residence.

Mr. Redmon was born on July 2, 1917 to BC & Della Redmon of Flaherty, KY. He married Elsie Pike on September 7, 1940. Together they farmed in the Garrett community for over fifty years. Brick was a member of St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, KY and he was a veteran of World War II having served in the United States Army.     

Along with his parents & wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Harry Redmon; a daughter, Trudy Caines; an infant son, Tommy Redmon; a son in law, Gene Streible; three grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three brothers; and six sisters.

Survivors include:
Seven children, Delaine Streible, Steve Redmon & his wife, Brenda, Mark Redmon & his wife, Gayla, Glenn Redmon & his wife, Kaye, Danny Redmon & his wife, Teresa, Rickey Redmon, Sharon Pace & her husband, David; a daughter in law, Linda Redmon; a son in law, Mark Caines; twenty eight grandchildren; fifty seven great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; two sisters, Joann Medley, Mary Vessels & her husband, Bill; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY and from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Saturday at St. Martin Church, Flaherty, KY. A prayer service will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday at the funeral home.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mr. Redmon will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, November 30, 2019 at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, KY. Burial will follow in the St. Martin Cemetery.
