Doloris Garrett Obituary

Doloris Garrett, 85, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Eastern Star Home, Louisville, KY.

Mrs. Garrett was a veteran of the United States Army. She was retired from Civil Service, and was a lifetime member of the Thirty Three club. Some of her hobbies include traveling and shopping.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Garrett; one grandchild, Christopher Garrett; one brother, Edward Baarts; and a sister, Elaine Baarts.

Survivors include:
Six children, Michael Garrett, George Garrett, Orville Garrett & his wife, Laura, Diana Ammons, Andy Garrett, Todd Garrett; five grandchildren, Rue Ammons & his wife, Kendrick, Ian Ammons, Chelsea Garrett, Matthew Garrett, Travis Garrett; five great grandchildren; and one sister, Laverne Stade.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM Wednesday at the Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral service for Mrs. Garrett will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. A graveside service with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
