Doug Bennett Obituary

Doug Bennett, 55, of Radcliff, KY passed away Tuesday, July 31, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Bennett was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police and he was a Kentucky Colonel.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Yvonne Bennett; and one brother, Harold E. Bennett, Jr..

Survivors include: His wife, Lynne Bennett of Radcliff, KY; two daughters, Wendy Barker & her husband, Tom of Louisville, KY, Sheri McLennan & her fiancee, Paul Sayler of Louisville, KY; his father, Harold E. Bennett, Sr. of Radcliff, KY; eight grandchildren, Bobbie Jo, Brenda, Samantha, George, Jessica, Taylor, Zachary, Teagan; three great grandchildren; two sisters, Dr. Jeanne M. Bennett, Karen Mattingly; one brother, Harry E. Bennett; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Sunday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY and from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM Monday at Radcliff United Methodist Church.

Funeral services for Mr. Bennett will be held at 12:00 PM, Monday, August 5, 2019 at Radcliff United Methodist Church, 275 S. Woodland Drive, Radcliff, KY. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
