James "Jim" Conder Obituary

James “Jim” Conder, 76, of Louisville, KY passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at St. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital, Louisville, KY.

His memberships include South East Christian Church, and American Legion Bonnie Sloan Post #28 New Albany, IN. Mr. Conder was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Air Force.

He was preceded in death by a son, Paul Conder; his parents, Virgil & Ola; three brothers, Bill, Tommy, Lewis; one sister, Stella Mae; and a uncle, Archie.

Survivors include:
His wife, Margie G. Chism Conder of Louisville, KY; one daughter, Wendy Conder of Louisville, KY; one granddaughter, Paulina Conder of Louisville, KY; one brother, Joe Conder of Taylorsville, KY; one sister, JoAnn Young of Glasgow, KY; several nieces, nephews, family & friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Friday and from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM Saturday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Conder will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 6, 2019 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow in the Ekron Baptist Church Cemetery.
