James “Jim” Livers, 76, of Elizabethtown, KY passed away Saturday, August 25, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Livers was a veteran of the United States Army. He was retired from Civil Service, Fort Knox, KY where he worked as an optical laboratory technician for forty five years. He enjoyed family, volleyball, motorcycles, and anyone he came in contact with.
He was preceded in death by his parents, James Thomas & Betty Margaret Glasscock Livers.

His loving wife of fifty three years, Betty Ann Livers of Elizabethtown, KY; two children, Lisa Ramsey & her husband, Ronnie of Elizabethtown, KY, Thomas Livers & his wife, Dawn of Florida; grandchildren, Julia Sisoumankhara & her husband, Takyan, Thomas Livers, Jr., Clint Livers, Grayson Livers, Noah Livers, Dakota Plaster; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Sally Livers Bess of Missouri; several nieces, nephews, family & friends.
Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM Tuesday at the Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
Funeral service for Mr. Livers will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Brother Ben Underhill officiating. Burial will follow in the Hardin Memorial Park, Elizabethtown, KY with military honors.
