Joann Yun Stoinoff, 67, of Radcliff, returned to her heavenly home on July 18, 2018 after bravely fighting cancer. She remained devoted to her family and her Christian faith during her battle, and she was blessed with the peace of eternal life through Jesus. Born in Seoul, Joann was ever grateful to the United States for her family’s survival during the Korean War. She was a dedicated fan of Reds baseball and Army football. She was well known for her intelligence, kind heart, and devotion to her family. Above all, she will be remembered as a devoted Army Wife, Army Mother, and loving Grandmother.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Suk Gyu and Soon Bok Yun, and her sister Yo Eun Hong.
She is survived by her husband, Major (Ret.) Chris Stoinoff Jr.; one son, Major Chris (Krystal) Stoinoff III; one daughter, Sabrina (Michael) Furnish; two granddaughters, Natalie Stoinoff, Victoria Stoinoff; one sister, Yo Im Han; two brothers, Yo Kil Yun, Daniel Yun.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM Wednesday at the Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stoinoff will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Chaplain Larry Vance officiating. Burial will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
