Lloyd Blackston Obituary

Lloyd W. Blackston, 88, of Radcliff, KY passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at the Carl M. Brashear Radcliff Veterans Center.

Mr. Blackston was retired from the United States Army and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was also retired from Gates Rubber Company, Elizabethtown, KY

Survivors include his loving wife of 59 years, Helga Blackston of Radcliff, KY; one daughter, Patti McKinley & her husband, Kent of Clarksville, TN; two grandchildren, Michelle Austin, Leslie Tingle; one sister, Mary Clemens; a special niece, Karen; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Blackston will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
