Paul Bowen Obituary

SFC (RET) Paul M. Bowen, 79, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Wednesday, February 6, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Bowen was retired from the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. His memberships include: American Legion Ritchie-Trent Post #148, West Point, KY; D.A.V. Chapter #003, Elizabethtown, KY, V.F.W. Post #10218, Vine Grove, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Esburn & Lottie Bowen; and one brother, Terry Bowen.

Survivors include: His wife of 51 years, Fannie “Tiny Daley” Bowen of Vine Grove, KY; six children, Darlene Ashley of Brandenburg, KY, David L. Bowen of Alabama, Teresa Bowen of Alabama, Wesley Bowen of Alabama, Debra Brady of Florida, David W. Bowen of Alabama; one sister, Marion Still of Alabama; sixteen grandchildren; several great grandchildren; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday and from 11:00 AM until 1:30 PM Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Bowen will be held at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
