Rachel (McKinney) Dearborn

Rachel McKinney Dearborn, 82, of Radcliff, KY passed away Saturday, December 15, 2018 at her residence.

Mrs. Dearborn was born November 12, 1936 at Fort Knox, KY. She was retired from Civil Service, DENTAC, Fort Knox, KY with twenty years of service. Her memberships include St. Christopher Parish, Radcliff, KY, and DAVA Unit 003, Elizabethtown, KY.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene & Hazel Cox McKinney; her husband, Anthony A. Smith; one son, James Laron; and one brother, James W. McKinney.  

Survivors include
Her husband, Gregory Dearborn; three daughters, Kimberly Portman & her husband, Dale, Melinda Burkhalter, Kelli Lampe & her husband, Russell; one son, Richard Dearborn; four grandchildren, Kyle Portman & his wife, Hallie, Seth Dearborn, Sydney Dearborn, Mia Dearborn; two great grandchildren, Emilya Portman, Dominick Portman; one brother, Thomas McKinney & his wife, Betty; one sister, Shirley Blanton; several nieces, nephews; special friends, Susan Barefoot, Karen Firment, Alice Simmons, and Diann Zittle.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday and from 9:00 AM until 10:30 AM Wednesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 19, 2018 at the St. Christopher Parish, Radcliff, KY with Rev. Jeff Hopper officiating.

A graveside service will be held at 12:30 PM, Friday, December 21, 2018 at the KY Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
