Willie Carter, Jr. Obituary

Willie Lee Carter, Jr., 73, of Leitchfield, KY passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie & Mary Carter; and one sister, Clara Jean Little.

Mr. Carter was retired from the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam war.

Survivors include three children, Rhonda Burton & her husband, Aaron of Leitchfield, KY, Donna Carter of Louisville, KY, Anthony Carter of Nashville, TN; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM Thursday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

A memorial service for Mr. Carter will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, October 3, 2019 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY
