Everett Allen "Al" Tamplin, aged 73, of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, passed away on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Baptist Health Hardin in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Born on Monday, February 12, 1951, in Louisville, KY, Al was known for his selfless nature, generous spirit, and courageous heart.

Al was the embodiment of hard work and dedication, having spent many years as a truck driver before his retirement. As a proud member of the Order of the Arrow, the honor society of the Boy Scouts of America, and the Keystone Club, Al contributed significantly to the mentorship and development of young individuals, always striving to set a positive example.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Elmo and Helen Tamplin; and his younger brother, Sterling Garrett (Garry).

Mr. Tamplin is survived by his wife, Claudia Tamplin; two sons, Josh Allen, Garrett Nash; a granddaughter, Lily; one sister, Nancy Kleehamer; and a host of extended family & friends.

A memorial service will take place at 2:30 PM, Friday, May 17, 2024 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 North Dixie Blvd, Radcliff, KY
