Alberta Marie (Carter) Brown

Alberta Marie “Bert” Brown, 77, of Vine Grove, KY went to be with our Lord on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Hardin Memorial Health, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mrs. Brown was a member of Vine Grove Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her son, Paul Travis Brown; her parents, Odas & Florence Carter; one brother, Ronald Wayne Carter; one sister, Frances Geneva “Frankie” Fisher; one granddaughter, Sandra Christine Kerns; and a great granddaughter, Ansley Grace Perry.

Survivors include:
Six children, Dana Kerns of Radcliff, KY, Vanessa Gay Lawson of Vine Grove, KY, Rebecca Kromoff of Radcliff, KY, Russell Troy Brown & his wife, Marzena of South Carolina, Amanda “Mandy” Graham of Campbellsville, KY, Carl Everhart of Vine Grove, KY; two sisters, Theresa Buckman of Vine Grove, KY, Neicy Lane & her husband, Tim of Vine Grove, KY; twenty grandchildren;  thirty three great grandchildren; and a host of family & friends.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Monday and from 9:00 AM until 11:30 AM, Tuesday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mrs. Brown will be held at 12:00 PM, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at the Vine Grove Christian Church with Brother Evan Hardwick officiating. Burial will follow in the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
