Alice L. Michaelis, 88, of Radcliff, KY passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at her residence.
Her life was a testament to her faith and commitment to others. Throughout her life, Alice was actively involved in her church communities. Her memberships include Valley View Baptist Church in Vine Grove, KY, the Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, TX, and Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Dean Michaelis Sr.; one son, Richard Dean Michaelis Jr.; two daughters, Melanie Dawn, Victoria Lorraine; her parents, Clarence & Mildred Baker; two brothers, Pastor Lloyd Baker, Pastor Dwayne Baker; and one great nephew, Paul Timothy Elliott.
Mrs. Michaelis is survived by one daughter, Veronica “Ronnie” Michaelis; one grandson, Richard Dean Michaelis III; a daughter in law, Beth Michaelis; and a host of friends.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 8, 2024 at Valley View Baptist Church, Vine Grove, KY.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at Green Valley Cemetery, Furley, KS.
A Celebration of Life service will also be held at 12:30 PM, Saturday, June 29, 2024 at the Furley Methodist Church, Valley Center, KS.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Valley View Baptist Church, Vine Grove, KY, Sanctuary of Hope, San Antonio, TX or the Richard Dean Michaelis Scholarship Fund.
