Annette Talbert, a beacon of kindness, courage, and selflessness, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, in Louisville, KY. Born on Thursday, September 8, 1960, in Brooklyn, NY, Annette's life was filled with love, laughter, and service to others. Her unwavering spirit and zest for life will continue to inspire and uplift those whose lives she touched.
Annette was a veteran United States Army, where she served her country with honor and distinction. Her courage and selflessness were evident in her commitment to her fellow soldiers and her dedication to her country. Annette's service in the military set the stage for a life of service to others, both in her personal and professional life.
Annette channeled her passion for cooking into the founding of Creative Cooking In Oni's Kitchen. Her innovative culinary creations brought joy to countless individuals and families, as she shared her love of food and her gift for bringing people together through her culinary talents.
Annette is survived by her devoted husband, David Talbert; four children, Lorenzo, Jennifer, D.J., Michael; three grandchildren; and a host of extended family & friends.
As we celebrate Annette's life, let us remember the countless moments of joy, laughter, and love she brought to those around her. Let us honor her memory by embodying the kindness, courage, and selflessness she so effortlessly displayed throughout her life. Funeral services for Mrs. Talbert will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 1:30 PM, Monday, May 8, 2023 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
