Anthony Wayne Davis Obituary

Anthony Wayne Davis, affectionately known as Tony, was born to Karen Lynette Davis and Gary Callihan. Tony was a man of many talents and interests. He enjoyed fishing, attending car shows, playing rummy, and listening to old-school rap music. Known as a dependable handyman, Tony could be counted on to fix just about anything and took pride in helping others.

Tony honorably served in the United States Army as an Armor Crewman and earned the National Defense Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Hand Grenade Expert Qualification Badge, and Pistol Sharpshooter Qualification Badge.

In civilian life, Tony was truly a jack of all trades. He most recently worked as a truck driver with Blue Recycle Company, leaving a positive impression on his coworkers. Previously, he and his fiancée, Keisha, were team drivers, traveling state to state with their beloved dog, Havoc, Tony’s loyal companion. He also worked in waste management, performed tree work, and served with FEMA, always bringing dedication to every role.

Family

Tony is survived by his son, Hunter Matthew Davis, born July 19, 2002. Though time and circumstance kept them apart, he loved his son dearly. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Otto and Marie Callihan, Ivey and Ellen Davis, and his mother, Karen Lynette Davis-Crump. He leaves to cherish his memory:

• Fiancée: Keisha
• Father: Gary Callihan and wife Patti
• Son: Hunter Matthew Davis
• Sister: Lynnette Hamilton (Shon)
• Niece: Kierra Hamilton
• Nephew: T.J. Hamilton
