Betty Jane (Strunk) Edwards

Betty Edwards, 86, of Elizabethtown, KY completed her mission on earth Tuesday, March 26, 2024.

She was born to Sena and Luther Strunk and was blessed with four brothers and two sisters. Her parents, brothers, Eugene, Bob, Don, and Claude Strunk and sister, Bonnie Silvers preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Linda Phillips.

Betty married Jim Edwards (deceased) and they had four daughters, Joni, Jama, Jennifer, and Jerri. Betty later married Joseph Pencek (deceased). She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Harry Partington, Michael Kaye, and Curt Gray as well as her four grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Rebecca, and Adam Partington. She also is survived by sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Betty was gifted with an eye for beauty. She took joy in making her home a place of warmth and her garden abundant with flowers. She was a member and former officer of PEO chapter C-CY.

Visitation will be at the Day & Carter Mortuary in Bedford, IN on Friday March 29th from 2:00 to 3:30 pm ET.

A graveside service for family will be held at Beech Grove Cemetery at 4 pm ET.
