Betty Darlene Hillyer, 80, passed away at her residence in Radcliff, KY on Tuesday, October 14, 2025.
She is survived by her four loving children, Rodger (Kelly) Hillyer, Sheri (Larry) McQuade, Kevin (Angela) Hillyer, Michael (Kelly) Hermsmeyer and one dog son, Scooter; six grandchildren, Cameron (Maggie) Finley, Catherine McQuade, Courtney Webb, Monica (Dustin) Allen, Kelsey Blanchard, and Kyle McClelland; six great grandchildren; one brother, John Nicholson; one sister, Diane (Jeff) Cathcart; several nieces and nephews and a host of extended family & friends.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, George Hillyer; her parents, Bert M. Nicholson and Betty L. Abbott Gillens.
Betty was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend.
Mrs. Hillyer was a member of St. Christopher Parish, Radcliff, KY. Betty was a nurse for 40 years touching the lives of many while also having her life touched by the people she helped over the years.
Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Saint Christopher Parish, Radcliff, KY.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Mrs. Hillyer at 11:00 AM, Monday, October 20, 2025 at Saint Christopher Parish, Radcliff, KY with Rev. P. Cole McDowell officiating. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens in Radcliff, KY.
