Billy Goodlett Obituary

Billy Eugene Goodlett, a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023, in Radcliff, Kentucky. Born on Saturday, January 30, 1965, in Louisville, Kentucky, Billy lived a life filled with laughter, generosity, and love for his family and friends.

Billy is best remembered for his funny, selfless, and thoughtful nature. His infectious laughter and quick wit never failed to bring a smile to the faces of those around him. He was a beacon of joy and positivity, always ready with a joke or a kind word to lift the spirits of those who needed it.

Billy's selflessness was evident in the way he cared for his family and friends. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, whether it was offering a listening ear, providing guidance, or simply being there for support.

Billy was preceded in death by his wife, Lois Faye Goodlett, and his mother, Mary Yates.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his two daughters, Wendy Richardson and Jessica Richardson; his father, Eugene Goodlett; and nine siblings, Bobby Goodlett, Johnnetta Hedges, Samantha Richard, Steven Day, Danny Day, James Bard, Adam Bard, Chris Goodlett, and David Goodlett. In addition to his immediate family, Billy is survived by a host of extended family members and friends who will cherish his memory and continue to honor his legacy of love, laughter, and kindness.

Mr. Goodlett’s family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
