Our beloved Carter Gregory Barbour gained his angel wings on Monday, October 6, 2025.
He is survived by his parents, Jacob Andrew Barbour & Emily Marie Barbour; a sister, Peyton Grace Barbour; his grandparents, James Barbour, Billie Sue Hodges, Barbara Himel, and Jason Himel. His uncles, Garrett Hodges, and Joshua Himel. Along with many other family members and loved ones.
Carter was born on October 29, 2022 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He got diagnosed with Menkes Disease at six months and fought courageously ever since. He was also diagnosed with cancer in June of 2025 and a recurrence in September. He was loved by so many and impacted many lives. He loved being talked to and having so much attention. He loved going to church and listening to gospel music. He was the most sweetest boy in the whole entire world.
Carter will forever be missed by everyone who loved him dearly. Even though his time with us was brief, he was loved a lifetime's worth. He will be forever remembered for his loving personality and his fighting spirit. We will love you forever, our sweet big boy.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 9, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday, October 10, 2025 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 1182 Jones Street, Radcliff, KY.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, October 10, 2025 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, 1182 Jones Street, Radcliff, KY with Pastor Faron Knopp officiating. Burial will follow in the Mill Creek Cemetery.
