Cathy (Watson) Bryant

Cathy Bryant, 62, of Sonora, KY passed away Thursday, January 15, 2026 at the Hosparus Health Inpatient Care Center, Louisville, KY.

Cathy was an avid bunco player, her laughter was a familiar and welcome sound at the bunco table. She was also a dedicated worker at Goodwill but above all, Cathy's heart belonged to her family, especially her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Juanita Brangers Watson; and a brother, Forrest Wayne Watson Jr.

Survivors include four children, Daniel Hazelwood, Michelle Lyons, Nina Thompson (Robbie), Abbe Kerckhove (Beau); six grandchildren, Candace, Cameron, Preston, Macy, Alyssa, Capri; her father, Forrest Wayne Watson; one brother, Jody Watson (Cindy); her companion, Richard Clark; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will by from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Ms. Bryant will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home with Brother Ben Underhill officiating. Burial will follow in the Valley Creek Cemetery.
