Charlotte Ann Vowels, 73, of Elizabethtown, KY, passed away Sunday, May 10, 2026, at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mrs. Vowels was a member of Saint James Catholic Church, Elizabethtown, KY.  Charlotte worked 34 years for Fort Knox Civil Service. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Andy and Susie Redmon, and one son, Robert Bryce Macy. 

She is survived by her husband, of 28 years, Michael Vowels; one daughter, Kim End (Gary); two grandchildren, Macy Graham, Briley Shrewsberry (McKenzie); two great-grandchildren, Jackson Graham, Parker Shrewsberry; two stepchildren,  Lenny Vowels, Whitney Vowels (Mike); one step grandchild, Reese Boxley; one brother, Charlie Redmon; two sisters, Carolyn Redmon, Cindy Redmon, and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3:00 PM EST to 8:00 PM EST at Chism Family Funeral Home and after 10:00 AM EST until time of service, on Thursday at St. James Catholic Church.  

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM EST, Wednesday, at the funeral home. 

A Mass of Christian Burial for Mrs. Vowels will be held at 11:00 AM EST, Thursday,  May 14, 2026, at St. James Catholic Church, Elizabethtown, KY.  Burial will follow in the St. Brigid Cemetery, Vine Grove, KY.
