Chong Maguire Obituary

Chong Hui Maguire nee Hwang, beloved mother, wife, and daughter passed away peacefully at a hospital due to complications from surgery on January 8th, 2021. She was 67 years old.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Sang Won Hwang in Seoul, South Korea in 1953, Chong had moved to the United States several decades ago to take up a position at a dental lab in Wyoming Pennsylvania. Her husband and her moved to different locations for his work, eventually settling in Radcliff Kentucky. A proud mother of two boys Paul and Jerry, she had been married to her husband Frank for more than 30 years. She was an avid lover of the arts and diverse cultures. She showed great tenacity in difficult times having been a two time Cancer survivor.

Visitation and services for Mrs. Maguire will be private. Inurnment will be at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
