Christa (Rubik) Franklin

Christa R. Franklin, 80, of Fort Knox, KY passed away Monday, December 23, 2024 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mrs. Franklin was a member of St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, KY and she was known for her remarkable work as a diamondologist. Her memberships & former memberships include: Order of the Eastern Star, Damascus Court #27 Deputies of the Oasis A.E.A.O.N.M.S. Shriners, Professional Men's Club Lady Auxiliary and she was Kentucky Colonel.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Franklin; one son, Van Eric Franklin; two sisters, Erna Frankfurt, Anna Trumper; and a brother, Franz Rubik.

Mrs. Franklin is survived by two stepchildren, David Robb (Carol), Sheila Franklin; seven grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Franklin will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial will follow at the North Hardin Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
