Obituary
Cynthia Jean Vanderwege, daughter of the late Roy L. Carpenter and Edith Baumgardner Carpenter left her earthly body on May 4th, 2022 to be with her Heavenly Father.
She leaves behind her husband John Vanderwege, daughter Chandler (Kevin) Rigdon, son Aaron Riggs, son John Vanderwege Jr. (Jamie), brother Roy L. Carpenter Jr. (Buddy), her beloved grandchildren, and a great-granddaughter.
The love of her life, her husband John, will miss her most of all. They loved together, prayed together, and walked through life together. God gave them everything and they tried to use it wisely. She will be greeted by her pets that she will meet at the Rainbow Bridge, along with all of her family and friends that have passed before her. She was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be held at Chism Funeral Home in Vine Grove Kentucky on May the 12th from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM.
Funeral services for Mrs. Vanderwege will be held at 7:00 PM, Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with cremation to follow.
