Connie Jo High

Connie Jo High, a beloved daughter, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 2, 2023, in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. She was born on Sunday, December 21, 1958, to parents Martin "Buzz" High and Lillian Maxine Delawder High in Petersburg, West Virginia.

Connie was also a devout member of the Radcliff Christian Church. Her faith was a cornerstone of her life, providing her with strength and comfort.
She dedicated her career to serving her community. Connie worked as a police dispatcher, providing a vital link between the community and emergency services. She also worked at Baptist Health Hardin, where her compassionate nature and dedication to helping others shone brightly. Connie further contributed to her community by teaching EMS training, sharing her knowledge and to prepare others for emergency situations. Outside of work, Connie was a passionate gardener who also enjoyed cooking and canning.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother, Lillian Maxine Delawder High. She is survived by her father, Martin "Buzz" High; one brother, Martin "Buddy" High II (Shari); an aunt, Phyllis Marie High; and a host of friends.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Radcliff Christian Church.
