Craig was the loving son of Georgia Banks and the late MSG Estol Banks Sr. He was also a brother to the late Bobby Banks. His strong family ties extended to his significant other, Mary "Kelly" Espinoza, his two sons, Craig "C.J." Banks Jr. and Jalyn Banks, and his daughter, Ashley Espinoza. Craig was a proud grandfather to four grandsons; Cameron, Timothy, Dominic, and Kash Banks; and one granddaughter, Gabriella Banks. Craig's faith played a significant role in his life. He accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at True Light Baptist Church in St. Louis, Missouri. His faith was an integral part of his life. Craig never met a stranger. To know him was to love him. He loved to crack jokes and had an infectious laugh and smile. Being an avid sports fan, his favorite teams were St. Louis Cardinals and the Kansas City Chiefs. Craig loved his family with all his heart but most of all he loved God.
