Cristina Ann Davis, a revered veteran of the United States Coast Guard and a dedicated law enforcement officer, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the age of 52.

Following her honorable service in the Coast Guard, Cristina transitioned to a career in law enforcement. She first took on the role of a police officer first with UC Berkley PD and then Concord, California. Her career path led her to Eastern Kentucky University Police Department and eventually brought her to the Vine Grove Police Department. Her steadfast commitment to serving and protecting others was evident in every task she undertook. Cristina's final years in law enforcement were spent at the Jefferson County Sheriff Department, from which she retired, leaving behind a legacy of service that will be long remembered by her colleagues and those she served.

She was preceded in death by her father, Allan Michaels.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brian Davis; her mother, Tieng Michaels; one brother, Allan Michaels; and a host of extended family & friends.

Following her Celebration of Life she will be laid to rest at 3:00 PM, Monday, October 27, 2025 at Arlington National Cemetery with full military honors.
