Daniel G. Swan

Daniel G. Swan, 76, of Radcliff, KY passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Baptist Health Hardin, Elizabethtown, KY.

CW4 (RET) Swan served two tours in Vietnam as a combat helicopter pilot. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #10281, Vine Grove, KY and American Legion Post #113, Elizabethtown, KY.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William & Isabel Swan; three brothers, Dick Swan, Patrick Swan and Bill Swan; one sister, Irene Feehely. 

Mr. Swan is survived by two sons, Daniel J. Swan (Leigh-Ellen) of Indiana, Scott Swan of Radcliff, KY; one daughter, Kelly Swan (Steve Harrington) of Radcliff, KY; his former wife & mother of his children, Marie Swan of Fort Knox, KY; two grandchildren, Miranda Swan, Dominic Swan; one sister, Kathryn Swan of Cleveland, OH; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 12:30 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Swan will be held at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, February 21, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
