Darrell W. Simpson, age 72, and So Che Simpson, age 77 of Radcliff, KY passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025.
Mr. Simpson was retired from the United States Army. He was a true Trekkie who loved watching Star Trek and game shows. Mrs. Simpson was an avid cook who also enjoyed playing bingo. They both valued spending time with family & friends.
They were preceded in death by a son, Evans Anthony Delcambre Jr; and Mrs. Simpson was also preceded in death by a brother in law, George Hardin.
Survivors include two children, Penny Steenrod (Chris), Steve Delcambre; two grandchildren, Miranda Kurtz (Scott), Porter Steenrod; Mrs. Simpson is also survived by a sister, Ruth Hardin; a nephew, James Hardin; a niece Esther Hocsom; and they are both survived by extended family & many friends.
A graveside service with military honors will be held at 2:30 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2025 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
