David Ray Rhodes, 66, of Radcliff, KY was born on October 4, 1954 in Charleston West Virginia, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Baptist Hardin Health Hospital in Elizabethtown Ky on September 23, 2021 at 4:30pm after a long battle of Covid-19.
David was preceded in Heaven by his Grandson Christopher Tyler Veach on September 18, 2021.
David is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Regina Kay Rhodes (Balding), Sister Carolyn (Randy) Casto, Brother Kenneth Rhodes, Daughter Tara (Ryan) Barnard, Son Keith (Ellen) Rhodes, 3 Grandchildren Brianne Veach, Tate Atcher, Lacey Rhodes and 1 Great Granddaughter Avia Atcher.
David married Regina on December 17,1977. The two lived a beautiful Christian life and raised a beautiful family together. David spent 20 years in the United States Army where He, Regina and the kids traveled to many States and Countries. David Retired from the Army in 1994.
David Cherished time spent with his family. He enjoyed God’s creations being outdoors hunting and fishing. Often you could find him just sitting around a campfire surrounded by family and friends, telling stories. David also had a love for football and watching westerns.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Lifeline Assembly of God, Radcliff, KY.
Funeral services for Mr. Rhodes will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Lifeline Assembly of God, 1116 South Dixie Blvd. Radcliff Ky 40160. A graveside service with military honors will be held at 12:30 PM, Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the Veterans Cemetery in Radcliff KY.
