David Ray Simpson, Jr. passed away at his home on July 24, 2026.
He was born on February 24, 1978, in Heidelberg, Germany, to David Simpson Sr. and the late Sonja Simpson.
David was a fine mason and landscaper. He worked at Dixie Yard Works. He was an avid truck and motorcycle enthusiast and was also a huge U of L fan.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Sonja Simpson.
He is survived by four loving children, James Tyler Simpson of Radcliff, KY, Brianna Nicole Domenech (Xavier) of Radcliff, KY, Mason Waylon Simpson of Ramsey, IN, and Harleigh Nicole Simpson of Radcliff, KY; his father, David Simpson Sr.; one sister, Cathy Willis (Randy) of Munfordville, KY; and two nephews, Austin Lynch, Cody Peerman.
There will be a private celebration of life at a later date.
