David Slater

David S. Slater, 59, of Radcliff, KY passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Slater was retired from the United States Army and he was a veteran of the Gulf War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Jean Slater; two siblings, Paul Slater, Rona Slater; and two sisters in infancy,

Survivors include: His wife, Kum Sun Slater of Radcliff, KY; five brothers, Kenneth Slater, Robert Slater, James Slater, Steven Slater, Dennis Slater; three sisters, Barbara Plessinger, Karen Weatherman, Mary Scherer; nineteen nieces & nephews; several great nieces & nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM, Thursday and from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Friday at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Slater will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, January 29, 2021 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. A graveside service with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
