Debbie (Jackson) Gordon Obituary
Deborah Dianne Gordon, lovingly known as “Debbie”, passed away in the embrace of her family on June 29th, 2025, at the age of 67. She was a cherished mother, devoted friend, and a compassionate soul who deeply cared for everyone she met.
Born on August 24th, 1957, in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Debbie was the beloved daughter of Glenn and Joan Jackson. She was the first-born child, and they declared her the genesis of a marriage, the fulfillment of young love, and the promise of their infinity. The family love shined brightly from the beginning as she frequently attended church with her mother and created long lasting memories camping with the entire family in Maine.
As she grew into a young adult she enjoyed listening to Marvin Gaye & Smokey Robinson. She held several jobs through her years, but none more impactful than being a stay-at-home Mom.
She married Mark Gordon on May 30th, 1986. It was around that time she found joy in their shared love of darts and bowling.
After moving to Fort Knox, Ky, she became a Teacher’s Aide where she dedicated years of her life providing great care to children with special needs. She loved flowers and would bless anyone she could by giving them flowers to show her love. Later in life she found peace watching hummingbirds, cross stitching, creating diamond art, or watching every disaster and Hallmark movie she could find.
Debbie is preceded in death by her parents Glenn and Joan Jackson, her husband Mark Gordon, and her grandson Quentin Powell. She is survived by her two sisters, Linda McWalter and Michelle Jackson, her three daughters, Paula (Joe) Spindler, Jennifer (Josh) Blanchard and Tiffany (Laura) Gordon, 6 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
