Dennis Marlan Lacefield, 75, of Radcliff, KY passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Norton Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. Born on June 25, 1948, in Grand Rivers, Kentucky to Marlow and Rachel Moneymaker Lacefield whom preceded him in death.
He was also preceded in death by his sister, Renae Brown. He leaves behind his wife, Gaylene Rindlisbacher whom he married December 11, 1971. He is also survived by four children, Tanna Nelson (Phillip), Tamara Ricks (Marvin), Dennis Lacefield, Amanda Lacefield, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Dennis also leaves behind two brothers, Wayne and Johnny Lacefield, two step grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. Dennis’s educational journey was marked by diligence and dedication. He majored in accounting in college and earned a master's degree, demonstrating his commitment to knowledge and academic excellence. His career was equally impressive, as he served in public accounting and at First Security Bank. Dennis also ran a successful accounting practice until April of 2023, where he was highly respected for his expertise, professionalism, and ethical values.
Cremation was chosen by Mr. Lacefield.
