Donnie ”Duck” Lancaster, 83, of Brandenburg, KY passed away Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his residence with his family by his side. 

 

Mr. Lancaster's memberships include St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church, Flaherty, KY,  Knights of Columbus, Father Diemert Council 3379, Vine Grove, KY and he also attended church at St. Brigid Catholic Church, Vine Grove, KY. Donnie valued dedication and the joy of a job well done. He brought these values to his career where he served as the Fort Knox Golf Course Maintenance Supervisor. Outside of work, Donnie's heart belonged to his family. He was a devoted family man who treasured every moment spent with his loved ones.

 

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Ronnie Lancaster, Joseph “Buzzo” Lancaster and Bobby Lancaster.

 

Mr. Lancaster is survived by his wife of 49 years, Jo Anne Lancaster; one son, Scotty Lancaster (Heather); two granddaughters, Alea Lancaster, Kaleigh Adams (Bradley); two great grandchildren, Lainey, Briggs; two sisters, Dorothy Jean Robbins, Mary Ann Vowels; two sister in laws, Diane Lancaster, Sue Lancaster; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

 

A Prayer Service will be held for Mr. Lancaster at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home.

 

Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 5:00 PM, Saturday, October 11, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

 

Following the visitation there will be a meal for family and friends at the Knights of Columbus Hall, 312 E Main St, Vine Grove, KY 40175.
