Dr. James E. Shaw

Dr. James E. “Jim” Shaw, 70, of Radcliff, KY went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 20, 2021.

Dr. Shaw enjoyed serving people and the Lord. Churches that he ministered at include: Zions Cause Baptist Church, Benton, KY, South Elkhorn Baptist Church, Lexington, KY, Mill Creek Baptist Church, Radcliff, KY, Connections Church, Radcliff, KY; Milton Baptist Church, Milton, KY and Green Acres Baptist Church, Louisville, KY. He had also led the state of Kentucky with one hundred thirty-nine baptisms in one year

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack & Doshia Shaw.

Survivors include:
His wife of fifty years, Christine Shaw of Radcliff, KY; three children, Jason Shaw & his wife, Eva of California, Heather Scamihorn & her husband, Matthew of Elizabethtown, KY, J. Jon Shaw of Louisville, KY; seven grandchildren, Isaiah, Leo, Ty, Abby, Zackary, Aleah, Elliott; one brother, Steven Shaw & his wife, Betty of Lexington, KY; two nieces, Jackie, Courtney; and many friends across Kentucky.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Dr. Shaw will be held at 6:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. A graveside service will be held at 12:00 PM (CT) Maplelawn Park Cemetery & Mausoleum, Paducah, KY.
