Dred Scott II

Rev. Dred Scott II, 84, of Fort Knox, KY passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.

Rev. Scott was a man of profound faith and unwavering conviction. After honorably serving his country in the United States Air Force, he dedicated himself to a life of ministry. In addition to his ministerial work, Rev. Scott was also a licensed funeral director in California, where he provided comfort and support to many during their times of greatest need.

He is survived by his loving wife, Billie M. Adams-Scott; two sons, Darryl Buggs, Emanuel Sanders; five grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

A graveside service with military honors will be held 2:30 PM, Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY with Dr. Kevin Cosby officiating.
