Eddie Evans

Edward Paul "Eddie" Evans, 44, formerly of Flaherty, Kentucky, passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at the St. Matthews Care Center in Louisville, Kentucky. Eddie was born on Saturday, June 10, 1978, in Fort Knox, Kentucky to Cletis Sam and Carolyn Evans.

Eddie was a man of many interests and talents. He was known for his intelligence, creativity, and kindness. As an avid reader, he possessed a wealth of knowledge and always enjoyed engaging in stimulating conversations. In addition to being a car enthusiast, Eddie was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association in Radcliff, Kentucky. He also had a deep respect for those who served in the military and law enforcement.

Eddie's kind and gentle nature touched the lives of many. He was a devoted son, brother, and friend, always putting the needs of others before his own. His compassionate spirit and warm smile will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cletis Sam Evans.

Eddie is survived by his mother, Carolyn Evans; one brother, Cletis Evans, Jr., and his wife, Sally; and a host of extended family and friends who will cherish his memory and continue to celebrate his life.

Eddie's visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Evans will be held at 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM EST, Wednesday, May 24, 2023 at Chanute Campbell Cemetery, Pall Mall, TN
