Elena (Smith) DeJarnette

Elena Smith DeJarnette, 77, of Guston, KY passed away Friday, May 30, 2025 at her residence.

Elena's life was characterized by her fervent involvement with the Jehovah's Witnesses, where she devoted countless hours in service and fellowship. In the past she always enjoyed taking rides on the motorcycle with her husband but above all, Elena's greatest joy was her grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Barney DeJarnette.

Mrs. DeJarnette is survived by two sons, Randall T. DeJarnette, Scott DeJarnette (Jenny); four grandchildren, Kaitlyn DeJarnette, Alexis DeJarnette, Aiden DeJarnette, Connor Alvey; one sister, Jean Petit; and a host of family & friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
