Betty was best known for her work as a costume specialist for Walt Disney, where she combined her keen eye for detail and love of storytelling. Her role required a thorough working knowledge of cutting, pattern making, and garment construction, and she used these skills to bring characters to life. Her work not only delighted audiences but also inspired many young artists who were fortunate enough to learn from her.
