Ellen Prather Obituary

Ellen Prather, 77, of Vine Grove, KY passed away Sunday, July 1, 2018 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mrs. Prather was preceded in death by a sister, Ruby Smiley.

Survivors include:
Her husband of fifty nine years, Leroy Prather of Vine Grove, KY; three children, Charlie Prather (Barbara) of Vine Grove, KY, Gayle Bloyd (Terry) of Elizabethtown, KY, John Prather (Emily) of Dry Ridge, KY; six grandchildren, Emily, Kari, Amber, Heather, John, Jessie; nine great grandchildren; four siblings, Peggy Lewis of Rineyville, KY, Richard Thomas of Rineyville, KY, Wayne Thomas of Pleasanton, TX, Mike Thomas of Vine Grove, KY; and a host of family and friends.

Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 6:00 PM Wednesday and from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday at Chism Family Funeral Home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Prather will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 5, 2018 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Brother Sid Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the North Hardin Memorial Memorial Gardens, Radcliff, KY.
