Ernest Thomas Sanders

Ernest Thomas “Tommy” Sanders, 66, of Radcliff, KY passed away Thursday, May 7, 2020 at Hardin Memorial Health, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Sanders was retired from the United States Army. He was a veteran of the Gulf War and Desert Storm. His memberships include New Beginning Baptist Church, Vine Grove, KY, Iron Soldier’s Motorcycle Club, and he had worked for Carnes Trucking for twenty six years.
 
Survivors include:
His wife of thirty eight years, Teresa Sanders of Radcliff, KY; two children, Maurice Sanders & his wife, Mikal of Atlanta, GA, Sharice Sanders of Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Miles Sanders, Marleigh Sanders; three sisters, Annie Norris & her husband, William of Louisville, KY, Mary Frances “Judy” Bartlett & her husband, James of Louisville, KY, Betty Jo Sanders of Versailles, KY; one brother, Webster M. Russell, Jr. & his wife, Brenda of Keene, KY; and a host of family & many friends.

A drive thru visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services with military honors for Mr. Sanders will be private with Rev. O.C. Jones officiating. Burial will be in the KY Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
