Ernie H. Harlow, 82, passed away on Thursday, November 14, 2024 at his home in Vine Grove, KY surrounded by his family. Born on January 15, 1942, in Willisburg, KY, Ernie was known for his hardworking, independent and dedicated spirit, not only in his personal life but also as the respected owner of Paramount Auto Parts in Inglewood, California.

Ernie was a devoted and loyal husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather described by those who knew him as a generous and genuine person with a heart of gold. He was passionate about golfing, fishing and just spending time with his loved ones. Ernie had never known a stranger, greeting everyone with a smile and kindness and always opening his home to any and everyone, especially animals. Ernie and his late wife, Linda Harlow, were devoted animal lovers, treating their cats and dogs like family while spoiling them with love. Even up until his passing, his two dogs, Bebe and Boss never left his side.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Harlow; his parents, Claude & Margaret Harlow; and his 11 siblings. He is survived by his daughters, Kathy Johnson and Robin Tamayo; and his many grand and great grandchildren. Ernie’s life was one of adventure and commitment marked by dedication to his family and career. His legacy  will continue to live on in the hearts of those he touched.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Robin Tamayo's residence, 20 Catchers Court, Vine Grove, KY 40175.
