Eugene Lyons

Joseph “Eugene” Lyons, 76, of Henderson, KY passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital.

Mr. Lyons was a veteran of the Vietnam War having served in the United States Navy. He was a loving husband, father, papaw and avid University of Kentucky fan.

He was preceded in death by a son, Jeff Lyons; his parents, Joseph & Mildred Lyons; and a brother, Kenneth Lyons.

Survivors include:
His loving wife of fifty-three years, Connie Lyons; one son, Jason Lyons & his wife, Shannon; five grandchildren, Brycen, Brayden, Jaylynn, Kylee Jo, Delaney; one sister, Barbara Warner & her husband, Larry; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 10:30 AM until 12:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Lyons will be held at 12:00 PM, Friday, January 14, 2022 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY with Pastor Royce Bishop and Dr. Shawn Edwards officiating. Burial will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
