Evandus Lambert Obituary

SSG (RET) Evandus Lambert, 86, of Radcliff, KY passed away Thursday, February 20, 2020 at Hardin Memorial Health, Elizabethtown, KY.

Mr. Lambert was a member of First Baptist Church, Elizabethtown, KY. He was retired from the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of Order Of Eastern Star Prince Hall Affiliation Of Louisiana, Pride Of Gretna and the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene & Mattie Lambert; three brothers; and four sisters.

Survivors include:
His loving wife of sixty-seven years, Carmell Lambert; four children, Alma, Mary, John, James; three sisters, Elaine Woolfolk, Lavinina Darrensburg, Barbara Lambert, Mildred Gilson; seven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren with two on the way.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Saturday at First Baptist Church, Elizabethtown, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Lambert will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, February 29, 2020 at First Baptist Church, 107 Bishop Lane, Elizabethtown, KY 42701 with Rev. Roderick Jones officiating.

A graveside services with military honors will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, March 2, 2020 at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
