SFC (Ret) Everett Born, 73, of Radcliff, KY passed away Thursday, December 11, 2025 at his residence.

Mr. Born was retired from the United States Army. Born into a family that valued hard work and creativity, Everett quickly showed an aptitude for mechanics and a love for hands-on projects. Everett's hands were rarely still, as he believed in the virtue of labor and the satisfaction of a job well done.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Steward Born and Farris Born.
 
Mr. Born is survived by his wife of 49 years, Elia Born; two children, Joseph Born (Christina), Susan Born; 12 grandchildren, Bella, Clara Ellen, Damian, Meagan, Mathew, Julian, Nickali, Alison, Joshua, Gabriella, Victoria, Penelope; four great grandchildren, Elia, Jack, Amberlynn, Mackenzie; three brothers, George Born, Albert Born, Henry; one sister, Sally Pierce; and a host of extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2025 at Chism Family Funeral Home.

A funeral service with military honors will be held for Mr. Born at 6:00 PM, Monday, December 15, 2025 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home.
