Fernando Arroyo

Fernando Arroyo, 65, of Radcliff, KY passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at his home surrounded by loved ones.

Mr. Arroyo retired with twenty years of service from the United States Army with gratitude & pride, with his most enjoyable time serving as a drill sergeant. Upon his retirement from the Army, he went to work for the State of Kentucky, Unemployment Office, where he retired after seven-teen years of public service. He was an avid Cincinnati Reds Baseball and University of Kentucky Basketball fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of thirty seven years, Ada Phoebe Arroyo; one daughter, Nivia Griffin & her husband, Blake; one son, Manuel Arroyo; two grandchildren, Jordan, Scarlette; two brothers, Alfredo Arroyo & his wife, Sonia, Victor Arroyo & his wife, Jennifer; one sister, Wanda Arroyo; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.

Visitation will be from 11:30 AM until 12:00 PM, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.

Funeral services for Mr. Arroyo will be held at 12:00, Friday, April 22, 2022 at the chapel of Chism Family Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
